I will then ask this athlete why they are getting nervous or tense and they’ll answer because they don’t want me to stick the needle in their eyes.
Then I walk away approx. 25 feet away from the same athlete while still standing on one leg and still pointing the needle at the same athlete’s eyes. Now I will ask the athlete is they are still nervous or tense? They answer they’re not tense or nervous because they know that I am far enough away from them so I won’t be able to stick the needle in their eyes.
